Weekly menu

So I am trying to start something new...our weekly menu. I am planning on simply listing my ideas for dinner this week. Every sunday I hope to have a new post with our weekly menu. When I cook some of my favorite recipes, I will include them on here if you ever are in a rut and don't know what to cook then go ahead and make one of the tasty dishes. I am a food network junky so my goal is to also begin making more of the recipes that I see on TV and read in magazines and rate and review them for you. But currently I am in the process of cooking with what I have. A.K.A cleaning out the pantry and fridge. Drew and I are in the habit of buying food when we are utterly hungry. It's a bad decision all around, we spend more money and end up with lots of food that sounded good at the time, but then we never end up eating. So my goal the next few weeks is to take whats left in our pantry and freezer and turn it into dinners with substance. Now my husband likes hamburger helper which I have to say is not my favorite but I have to use it because...it is in the pantry.

So here we go week 1!

August 24-30

Monday: Chicken Piccata with rice

Tuesday: Pork with apples and stuffing. (I got this recipe from a good friend and this makes a very good dinner. One of Drew's favorites).
